The drive home
On the way home we had quite the drive. First we started off in the wind. The road was covered in tumbleweeds.
Eventually the wind picked up so much that we could barely see in front of us because of the dust.

Within an hour we were driving in a snowstorm. (Is warm weather EVER going to come?)

Last Saturday morning my mom called to tell me that Grandma Christiansen had passed away. So I spent my spring break in Utah going to a funeral. She's been really sick so it's good to know that she's not suffering anymore, but we will all miss her.
I was doing fine at the funeral until they told us to say our last farewells and I saw my grandpa bend over and kiss grandma in her coffin. Then I started to cry. It's going to be hard for grandpa after being with her for so many years.
Ben waiting to do his job as a pallbearer. You can tell it was windy because of the flag.

Grandpa at the grave dedication. It was very short and sweet because of the weather.

WE LOVE YOU GRANDMA!!

A Book About Me
No pictures for this post, but I just thought I would share something kind of funny/weird.
I had a student come into my room the other day after school to tell me that she is writing a book and that the main character's name was Mrs. Hale, but it was based on me. :) I told her to make sure I get to read it when she's done.
