An Update for Jeff

Since Jeff's computer is broken, he asked me to post these pictures of our dinner tonight. He got out to work today and got sent home because of high winds and closed roads. So he finally got a snow day. I had about five messages on my phone to remind me that he was home early from work because of a snow day...he wanted to rub it in. Anyway, this extra time allowed him to look through recipe books. He found a couple recipes he wanted to try, so he brought the stuff over and made me dinner. It was YUMMY!!

Jeff looks a little different with a beard on. Mary Ann let him put on her turban while we were at her house. I think it goes great with the beard. (I won't tell you what he has strapped to his back :))

Random Shots

This is a picture of my Christmas gift from Jeff. While I was gone to Costa Rica, he took my spoon shelf and made another one for me. I think he got tired of looking at all the spoons stacking up that didn't fit on the first one...and hearing me say all the time that I needed to get a new one. As you can see the second is almost full as well. That's how bad I needed one. I told him he should get started on another one....he rolled his eyes.

I took this shot for my dad. He's always giving us crap about not getting any snow here in Idaho...well, here's a picture of my fence half buried.

Family Christmas Party

I thought I was late at posting, but I'm still the first to post pictures from my family's Christmas party last week. We decided to wait and have our party while Ben was home on leave from Iraq. It was a good weekend. We had our party and got to listen to Andy report on his mission. Here are some random shots.

New years.....a little late

I know I'm a little slow at getting these posted, but I still wanted to post them anyway.

Jon bought pick up sticks so we played that for a while. Darren decided to get creative and use kitchen tongs....I'm not sure I would call it effective, although he did manage to get a few sticks with it.

Ethan and I playing cards. He was my date for most of the night. He makes a good card partner.

It looks to me like Susan doesn't like making out with Darren. Sorry Darren!

Wall of Fame?

My mom has pictures on her wall...just like most moms. The thing that makes my mom different, is that you only get to be on the wall if you're married.....hmmm how did Andy get up there? Is that his boyfriend? Is that his way of coming out of the closet? :) Just kidding Andy! I just couldn't resist.
