Camping

This weekend I went camping with the Rexburg crew. It was lots of fun. Here are some fun pictures. This first one is a picture of dirty Jake with food stuck to his face.
This is what Jake looked like when Jeff and I pulled in. Already filthy and he had only been there for a couple hours. Darren just told Susan to embrace it because we were camping.

Happy Birthday to Me!!

I've been talking about how much I wanted a porch swing for my patio. Well Jeff made that wish come true! This is what he gave me for my birthday. I love it. It's nice in the evening when it's nice and cool outside.

For Darren

When I planted my garden Darren told me I shouldn't waste my time because it wasn't going to grow. Well Darren here it is!!!! I've already picked a grocery bag full of beans. I'm surprised I got so many beans off of only a couple of plants.

A Late 4th of July Post

I forgot I had these pictures that I hadn't posted. They are just some more shots from the 4th of July.


This is one of Ethan Posing for me in Grandpa's hat. I didn't tell him to sit like this. I just told him I wanted to take his picture and he came down and laid down in front of me.

The day after the 4th. We went down to the Snoasis and bought some shaved ice. Then we went to the park to eat it. Before too long Jake had two spoons making great progress on his. I though it was cute.

Oops!

Tonight we had our last softball game. We've had a decent season. Not too many injuries - a few scrapes from sliding, a ball in the ear, and tonight....a ball in the eye.

I was playing second. Brooke was playing first. We were warming up. She through me a grounder. I threw it back to her, but it landed short and bounced up and hit her in the eye. She has a nice shiner now. And the worst part is .....she has a blind date on Friday. All the guys on the team said that any guy would think that was sexy. I'm not sure if she believed them. She was a trooper though. She took a few min. to let her eye refocus so she could see, and then she got back up and played. We ended up loosing, but only by one run. Oh well, it was fun, and I hope to do it again next summer.
